Perched in Green — Mixed Media

A tiny songbird takes center stage in Perched in Green, a warm and whimsical mixed-media piece inspired by the quiet beauty of nature. Layers of vibrant leaf green, turquoise, golden yellow, and warm orange surround the bird, while delicate branches and subtle handwritten details create a sense of depth and nostalgia.

Created with decoupage on heavy paper, acrylics, and mixed-media details, the layered textures give the work a softly aged, almost vintage quality. The bird’s bright coloring against the lush green background makes this small piece feel especially lively and full of character.

Presented in an ornate black frame with a soft ivory mat, this one-of-a-kind original has the charm of a tiny collected treasure—perfect for a bookshelf, small wall, bedside table, or tucked into a gallery arrangement.
