Golden Perch
Bold, warm, and full of character, Golden Perch captures a small songbird resting quietly among expressive branches. A glowing background of golden yellow and vivid orange, framed by an unexpected border of rosy pink, gives this little piece an energetic, contemporary feel.
Created with decoupage on heavy paper, acrylics, and mixed-media details, layers of texture and visible brushwork add depth while allowing the delicate details of the bird to remain the focal point. The contrast of cool blues and greens against the fiery background makes the composition especially striking.
Presented in a classic black frame with a crisp white mat, this one-of-a-kind original is small in scale but wonderfully bold in personality.
